Kokand city Mayor awarded winners of the Chess tournament for the Kokand city Mayor Cup held on 25-27 February, this year.
The Chess cup which was organized in six age categories among boys, youth and men and 11-17 age teen girls, in pursuance of the presidential decree of October 30, 2020 “On measures for the widespread introduction of a healthy lifestyle and the further development of mass sports” and of the decree “On measures for the further development and popularization of chess, as well as improving the system of preparation for chess players” of January 14, this year, was attended by over 300 the chess lovers.
The Mayor congratulated the participants, presented diplomas and gifts in a solemn atmosphere.
