Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov, at a meeting of heads of state medical institutions of the city, defined the tasks to ensure the quality of medical services provided to the population.
The Mayor gave instructions to ensure the provision of free medical care specified in the legislation, prevent corruption, provide high-quality medical care, improve the qualifications of medical workers and exercise public control over the activities of state medical institutions.
The meeting was also attended by the prosecutor of Kokand Ulugbek Hamdamov, the head of the health department Kamiljan Sirozhiddinov, deputies and other responsible persons.
Maruf Usmanov got acquainted with the activities of the self-supporting department for the rehabilitation of patients of the Central Hospital and talked with patients.
