Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 580th anniversary of Alisher Navoi, held at the 7th Children’s School of Music and Arts.
The Mayor talked with the members of the children’s ensemble, organized by the efforts of the teachers of the school of music and arts.
In the cultural part of the event, the Mayor noted that the head of state pays great attention to the propaganda of the heritage of Alisher Navoi, especially among young people.
At the event, Honored Teacher of Uzbekistan, Excellence in Education Atkham Mamayusupov received a donative national robe and sincere thanks from the Mayor. The Mayor congratulated him on the next award and put on the badge “Madaniyat va sanat fidokori” by hand.
