The opening ceremony of the technological marathon, organized in cooperation with the National Office for the Implementation of Innovations and Technology Transfer under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was attended by the Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov.
The Mayor noted that according to the Presidential Decree of April 1, this year, “On improving the public administration system in the development of scientific and innovative activities”, it is envisaged to increase the importance of science and technology in economic development, the evolution of the economy in close connection with science, technology and innovation.
The trainings that will be held at Kokand University are also designed to stimulate the development of science and technology in vital areas for the state, improve the skills of practical implementation of the achievements of science and technology in business and the social sphere.
