Khokim of Kokand Maruf Usmanov took part in a cultural and educational event held in the mahalla “Achchikkul”.
Khokim noted that thanks to the initiatives of the head of state, a conceptually new system for studying and solving the problems of the population in the context of mahallas was introduced in the country using house-to-house walks around the territories. He informed the participants of the event that for the repair and renovation of roads, communications, solving social problems of the population, in addition to the funds allocated for the open budget system, an additional 24 billion soums were allocated.
Maruf Usmanov paid special attention to the crimes committed recently in Kokand and called on citizens to be vigilant so as not to become victims of fraud, theft and robbery. He called for more attention to be paid to the upbringing of the younger generation. Members of the republican working group, which is engaged, these days, in the study of youth problems, also spoke at the event. Towards the end, a cultural program was also held – the performances of the performers were warmly welcomed by the participants of the event.
