The winners of the competitions organized among the youth born in 2005-2008 by the Kokand Department of Physical Culture and Sports in conjunction with the Judo Federation of the Fergana region were awarded medals, prizes and gifts.
Since the beginning of 2021, the department of physical culture and sports of the city of Kokand has organized 10 major competitions in such sports as badminton, kurash, mini football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, checkers and athletics.
More than 5,000 representatives of the younger generation took part in mass sports events organized in pursuance of the instructions of the head of state for the development of physical culture and sports, the widespread involvement of youth in sports.
