Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov and Mayor of Fergana region Khayrulla Bazarov took part in the opening of an action on the mass planting of tree seedlings in the joint-stock company Indorama Kokand fertilizers and chemicals.
In total, it is planned to plant more than 22 thousand seedlings of such landscape trees as spruce, pine and poplar, as well as fruit trees on the territory of the plant.
The high-ranking guests got acquainted with the activities of the refurbished plant, equipped with new modern equipment, built on the site of the former superphosphate plant.
The plant, which covers an area of over 30 hectares, produces mineral fertilizers. 350 people are provided with permanent jobs here. The launch of new facilities will allow providing jobs for more than 700 people.
