As part of the selection of young people for the Asian Games, which will be held in 2025 in Tashkent at the 2nd Children’s and Youth Sports School, competitions in table tennis, handball, mini-football, swimming and rhythmic gymnastics among boys and girls of 7-12 years old were held.
Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov and prosecutor of the city Ulugbek Khamdamov also took part in the competition with the aim of widespread promotion of physical culture and sports, in order to serve as a personal example.
In table tennis competitions, sector leaders played with members of the youth team. But football they played as captains of the opposing teams. In the fourth minute of the meeting the Mayor opened the scoring directing the passed ball into the goal. The 1-0 score remained unchanged until the end of the game, although the prosecutor had some very good moments.
The heads of the sectors also got acquainted with the activities of the judo and rhythmic gymnastics sections.
