It is forbidden to refuse to hire women and to reduce their wages for reasons related to pregnancy or the presence of children. In case of refusal to hire a pregnant woman or a woman with a child under the age of three, the employer must inform them of the reasons for the refusal in writing. Refusal to hire the specified persons can be appealed in court.
