Large-scale improvement works are carried out in the cemeteries of Kokand

Mayor of Kokand Maruf Usmanov got acquainted with the progress of capital repairs and construction at the Big Muslim Cemetery.

Today, the interior of the ayvan of funeral ceremonies has been completely restored in the national style. Now suras from the Koran are applied to the ceilings with artistic painting. The outer wall of the cemetery is faced with decorative tiles imported from Iran.

The Improvement, renovation and capital construction work is also carried out at the Tahia and Goziyoglik cemeteries. New service buildings are being built, walls, gates and paths are being renovated.

The proper maintenance of the Christian and Jewish cemeteries is also under constant control of the Mayor.

After reviewing the work at the Big Cemetery, the Mayor gave instructions to the employees of the cemetery service of the improvement department for the timely and high-quality execution of the work, according to the plan.
