At a meeting held in the assembly hall of the Kokand city hall, the head of the 1st sector, Kokand city mayor Maruf Usmanov, identified tasks to solve the social problems of citizens identified in the result of a home-based study of population problems.
In pursuance of the instructions given by the mayor, 6 working groups began their activities in the city.
In particular, on January 11, the social problems of 104 citizens were resolved. 41 citizens received assistance in solving communal problems related to the provision of drinking water, natural gas, electricity, utility debts, 8 people received assistance in solving problems related to internal roads and communications, 17 citizens were provided with jobs, 4 citizens received a decision on payment subsidies for the purchase of housing and 34 more low-income citizens received one-time cash benefits in the amount of 300,000 to 500,000 soums.
