The Mayor of Kokand gave an interview to the Turkish television

In an interview, the Mayor spoke about the rich history of the city, about the greatest people who were born here, gave detailed information about the historical monuments, tourist opportunities and infrastructure of the city. He especially noted the International Festival of Craftsmen, which is held thanks to the initiative of the head of the state.

As part of a press tour, organized by the Information Agency of Uzbekistan, on a project of cooperation with foreign media, with the aim of developing international tourism, familiarizing the international community with the largest tourism centers of the Fergana region, journalists got acquainted with the historical monuments of Kokand, tourist infrastructure, examples of handicraft production and local kitchen.
